My name is Madeline. I am a young writer & enthusiast of all things "food & travel."  

It's a beautiful thing when a career and a passion come together, so here my attempt to find what it is that makes my soul happy.  Don't get me wrong, I love the fast paced world of business, but when there was an intense pressure before graduation to compete with my classmates for the next 5x5 cubical... lets just say I was not all that thrilled. This is when I discovered that my love for cooking, traveling, and marketing could be more than just a hobby. ​

Through my research I fell upon Ballymaloe Cookery School in East Cork, Ireland. Ballymaloe is the most quaint place you have ever seen, located on an organic farm two miles from the coast of the Celtic Sea. (view the video below)Almost so perfect something had to be wrong... right? So of course the skeptic in me watched every video, read every article, review, but Ballymaloe continously proved me wrong. I mean Guinness is even my favorite beer....there was no dought in my mind, this was meant to be! 

So here I am, beyond excited to share my experience at Ballymaloe with all my supportive friends and family, to explore my deep pleasure in discovering new flavors from around the world, and meeting the people who inspire me to find my true passion.
